The President welcomed all present and began the meeting. The minutes of the last meeting are then read out in the meeting and as there are no changes, additions or amendments, it is unanimously accepted and approved.

 

The officer-in-charge informed the meeting that in order to implement the decision of the last meeting, all the tractor owners have been asked to complete the registration by 31/07/2013. And unregistered CNG is being taken under the mobile court. He also mentioned that the law and order situation in Rampal is much better than other police stations in Bagerhat district.

 

The Perikhali UP chairman told the meeting that the use of alcohol and Gaza had been reduced in his union but not eradicated. He requested for a police patrol.

 

Mr. Dilara Parveen thanked everyone present at the meeting and requested them to take necessary effective measures to stop eveteasing.

 

President, Rampal Upazila Press Club, Rampal, Bagerhat greeted all. He proposed to present a picture of law and order by the officer-in-charge from one meeting to another. He said drugs were spread all around. In Rajnagar UP, there is a broom business.

 

The Upazila Nirbahi Officer informed the meeting that the traffic jam at Gilatla, Rampal Bazar has been cleared to facilitate the movement of vehicles. He thanked everyone for their cooperation in this regard. He urged all UP chairmen to remain vigilant.

 

 

The following conclusions were adopted after detailed discussion.
